WALNUT-FINISH RESIN · MATTE BLACK STEEL · FROSTED GLOBE · 15″ TALL · HARDWIRED · G9
A capsule-shaped backplate in walnut-finish resin with a suspended frosted globe — pendant-style sconce on a 15-inch silhouette
Aperture is a wall sconce that reads like a small framed pendant — a vertical capsule backplate in walnut-finish resin, with a slim matte-black steel rod descending to a frosted glass globe at the bottom. The capsule’s recessed interior catches the warm glow and bounces it across the wall, doubling the visual brightness without doubling the bulb count.
Compact at 14 cm wide × 38 cm tall (5.5″ × 15″) — sized for hallways, bedside flanking, narrow consoles, and powder-room walls. Hardwired installation by a licensed electrician. G9 socket, bulb sold separately.

Installation
HARDWIRED · LICENSED ELECTRICIAN REQUIREDWall Junction Box InstallationAperture connects to a standard recessed wall junction box (single-gang or 4″ round). Total fixture weight is approximately 2 lb (1 kg) — well within any modern junction box’s load rating. The wall mount is anchored at the top of the capsule. We recommend a licensed electrician for installation, particularly in bathroom and powder-room locations where moisture exposure must be assessed before final a hallway, bedroom, or powder room? Aperture is best installed during electrical rough-in, before drywall is finished. If you’re retrofitting an existing wall, your electrician will likely add or relocate a junction box at the planned mount point — typically a 30-60 minute job per sconce.

G9 · TWO-PIN BASE1 × G9 BulbG9 is a small two-pin base — about the size of a USB plug. Widely available on Amazon, Home Depot, and Lowe’s under “G9 LED bulb.” We recommend a 25-40W equivalent LED in 2700-3000K warm white — the warm tone reads beautifully through the frosted globe and complements the walnut-finish backplate. Avoid halogen G9s entirely — they run hot, and the resin backplate is best paired with low-heat LEDs only. For dimming, choose a Triac-dimmable G9 LED and pair with a standard Triac wall dimmer.

It’s standard for compact wall sconces and decorative lamps, widely available on Amazon, Home Depot, and Lowe’s under “G9 LED bulb.” For Aperture, we recommend a 25-40W equivalent LED in 2700-3000K warm white. Avoid halogen G9s entirely — they run hot, and the resin backplate is best paired with low-heat I install Aperture myself? We recommend installation by a licensed electrician. The wiring connection is straightforward (line, neutral, ground to a wall junction box), but proper leveling and secure anchoring matter on a 15″ vertical sconce. A professional electrician will also assess moisture conditions if you’re installing in a bathroom or powder does Aperture look best? The 15″ vertical proportion makes Aperture ideal for narrow surfaces: hallway accents (in pairs, 6-8 ft apart), bedside flanking either side of a bed, powder-room walls (single or pair), and home-office accent walls. Less ideal for oversized living-room walls, where Aperture would read does the walnut-finish resin age compared to real walnut?Differently — and more predictably. Real walnut develops a deeper patina over years. Walnut-finish resin holds its color and surface stable indefinitely with no maintenance — no oiling, no waxing, no humidity I use it in a bathroom?Yes — Aperture is damp-rated and well-suited to bathroom and powder room installation, away from direct shower spray. We recommend installing at least 24 inches from the shower or I dim Aperture?Yes — Aperture is compatible with most Triac-based wall dimmers. Choose a Triac-dimmable G9 LED bulb, and pair the sconce with a standard wall dimmer. Smart dimmers (Lutron Caséta, Leviton Decora Smart) work with most dimmable G9 LEDs as do I clean it?Wipe gently with a soft dry cloth. Avoid alcohol, ammonia, bleach, and abrasive sponges — these can dull the walnut wood-grain finish over Aperture certified for North America and Europe?Yes. It holds certifications compatible with North America, Saudi Arabia, Europe, and Australia and operates on AC 110–240V worldwide.
