TCP 18.5W LED 4′ T8 Tube Light offers the perfect LED replacement for linear fixtures that operate independently of ballasts. The TCP 18.5W tube light is constructed of a shatterproof PET-coating on the glass lens, making the bulb safe around food handling and food equiptment. It is compatible with shunted and non-shunted sockets, allowing it to be wired directly to the line voltage and eliminating the need for ballasts. The LED T8 tube is equivalent to a 4′ 32W fluorescent T8 tube, has a long 50,000 hour lifetime reducing maintenance costs, and has upwards of 50% increased energy savings. The bulb is rated for enclosed fixtures. Before installation, remove any existing ballasts.
